This beautiful large vase is a fantastic second. It is structually perfect but sagged slightly in the kiln and is not the shape we wanted.
It is lovely individual work of art inspired by walks we have taken through the British countryside. It is thrown on the wheel in two pieces by Rob and then hand painted by Debs using coloured slips and underglazes. We have made this vase as a work of art and it is not intended to hold flowers, although it is glazed on the inside if you wish to do so. This particular piece has a matte finish on the exterior. We make everything from our home studio in our Cellar tucked away on the edge of the Cotswolds.
